Far from the classic routes and the well-known bikepacking itineraries, we chose a different way in. Smaller roads, less traveled paths, and landscapes we didn’t expect. Northern Peru surprised us. Not just by its terrain, but by how little we knew about it. This part of the journey is about exploring the unknown — riding without much information, adapting day by day, and discovering a side of Peru that often gets overlooked.
